Vienna ad Zentam servata MDCLXXXXVII
Saint Thérése of Lisieux Memorial Curch
The church’s foundation-stone was laid on 11th September 1996.
It happened on Town’s Day, in the Liberation Square of the town’s suburbia, on the 300th anniversary of the Battle of Senta and remembering Saint Thérèse of Lisieux’s death 100 years ago.
The church was built according to architect Tóth Vilmos’s plan. The steeple symbolizes the Monument of the Battle of Senta, while the dome made of 12 parts are the symbols of blooming flowers growing from the ground.
